Our promise to you

At S for Sausage, we take great care to ensure your sausages arrive in good condition and ready to enjoy.

From careful production to considered packing and dispatch, food safety and quality are always front of mind. If something is not right when your order arrives, we want to know and we will help.

When you receive your delivery, we recommend:

  • Bringing your box inside as soon as possible
  • Storing sausages in the fridge if you plan to use them the same day
  • Placing sausages in the freezer if you are not using them straight away

Please check the product when you open the vacuum pouch.

If you notice any of the following on opening:

  • An unusual or unpleasant smell
  • Packaging that has been damaged or compromised
  • Product that appears unfit for consumption

Please contact us as soon as possible, ideally on the day of delivery. Including your order number and a photo will help us assess the situation quickly.

If a genuine quality issue is identified, we will work with you to make it right. Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • A replacement
  • A refund
  • Store credit

In some cases, we may ask that the product is not consumed and is safely discarded for food safety reasons.
Once an order has been delivered, responsibility for correct handling and storage sits with the customer. This includes following delivery instructions and storing products appropriately after arrival.
While we pack every order carefully and dispatch with quality in mind, delivery timing is handled by our courier once parcels leave our care. Please refer to our Shipping page for more information about delivery timeframes and handling tips.
